The word of God spoke into existence all of creation; a timeless symphony which harmonized the ages. It has been said, "Music is love in search of a word." Let us echo the passion of God's words. Let the Gospel (Good News) be heard!!! God, in his infinite wisdom, by grace pierced the heart of a young man, thus planting the desire to spread "God's Word In Song." That man is Tim Peterson. Tim was born March 4, in Jennings, Louisiana to Jeff and Wilma Peterson. In this small community, Tim was raised by his aunt Juanita Thibodeaux, who later adopted him. Tim realized his love and gift for music at an early age, and was highly influenced by the other musicians in the family. At the age of six, Tim began playing drums, and later taught himself to play the piano and guitar. It was no surprise that he was voted "Most Talented" in his senior year of High School. In 1974 Tim moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music. While working in the insurance industry, Tim continued to follow his dream of becoming an accomplished musician, by playing the drums and guitar for various groups, recording artists and churches throughout Southern California. Tim is happily married to his lovely wife Janquenette AKA (Jan). Jan's shares an anointed gift of healing and helps ministry. They have three children; Shannon, Tiffany and Marcus. Tim and Jan are committed to providing a strong Christian home for their family. As Tim began to grow in his relationship with the Lord, the musical gift God planted in his spirit began to take root. He dedicated that gift of music back to the Lord. By the direction of God, his gift began to flourish and in 1992 in obedience to the will of God, he founded the "Tim Peterson Singers".
